As Publisher/Editor of Macaroni Kid, my goal is to give you a calendar full of events of things to do with the entire family, informative articles, awesome giveaways and hopefully provide a few little smiles along the way. 


Each year when school starts, it feels like a "second new year's day'"--a chance for a fresh start or finding inspiration in a renewed sense of creativity and motivation. As a mom, I hope I can encourage my kids to start off the new school year that way when they go back next week.


I also plan to "walk the walk" as I am planning some improvements to the newsletter and I am looking for feedback from all of you. What would you like to see more of in the newsletter? Today marks only week to go before my kids head back to school. Our school shopping is done, so I'm trying to cram as much summer fun as I can with them before they start classes and things get even more crazy! You can check the events calendar for some ideas for your own family.
